The first day the sliding door was off it's track, there was no coffee machine and i had to ask for help with the shower controls. The restaurant was closed due to a broken water pipe. The rooms do not have hair dryers. The dresser was about to fall apart. For what i paid for the room i expected a better experience.

I don't normally post complaints, but for the price of the place - it was old, worn, and disappointing. There was a pervasive smell of trash in the halls adjacent to our room, a small dent/hole in the wall next to our bed, and small ants climbing in through the window - on the second floor. The bathroom was small and looks like it had been painted 15 times - and sloppily. The only good part of this place was location. Right in the middle of the action.

Location is great but that’s about it. The pillows smelled dirty and musty. The water ran brown/there was rust from the pipes in it. The had just updated the locks, but left sawdust in the room’s foyer. The coffee maker in the room did not work. The restaurant was closed due to a pipe burst, but we were not informed of this until we went down to eat.

The hotel is in an amazing location! Located right in the heart of the shops and restaurants. We walked to the Cliff walk and the mansions, which was really fun. The hotel itself needs some updating and work. The restaurant was closed due to a water issue.

Great location. Unfortunately the city shut the water off for several hours one day (not the hotel's fault and they provided us with a breakfast of either a croissant or a yogurt as compensation). Because the water was shut off, it was very rusty when it came back on. In the middle of the night a water main burst and again no water and again not the hotels fault. Parking was free which was nice. Staff did their best!
