The room was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely and the atmosphere was top notch. I would have given 5 stars but we arrived 10 minutes after the 4pm check-in time and still had to wait about a half hour or more in the lobby with our bags before our room was ready.

The check in was an interruption and unwelcoming. She never looked up or made eye contact. Each staff member kinda knew their job. And no one including the fire pit manager knew how to make a guest feel like less of a burden.

The beds were terrible. We had to ask the staff for an extra blanket and washcloths We received a blanket but only after going to the front desk but never received the washcloths. The sliding glass door seeped so much cold air you could not sit next to the sliders. The walls are paper thin. You could hear conversations in the next room. I was so disappointed with the stay. I will not go back.

First visit since they remodeled. They did a phenomenal job with renovations. Feels more like a resort than a hotel. Lots of cozy, comfortable sofas, chairs and places to hang out. Rooms are tastefully appointed with all modern amenities.
