This hotel served its purpose- to be close to the beach. However, it was “meh” for the price. Only got 3 towels despite having 4 people and had to ask for a 4th. Decore and coffee options in the morning were both less than “meh”.

We LOVE the Atlantic Beach Hotel! My family has stayed here many times over the years, and every visit is great. Super convenient location in Middletown - right across the street from Eastons Beach, and close to all the main attractions in Newport, while being far enough away to not feel crowded. Free parking as part of your stay! The Main Building has comfortable, spacious rooms (some with town& water views), a beautiful indoor pool and an awesome outdoor sun deck (perfect for sunsets!). The Suites Building, located right on the other side of the street, has HUGE suites and is a great choice for traveling with larger families or groups. We got married in Newport, and our family all stayed at Atlantic Beach Hotel in the Suites Building - it was perfect! All rooms are very comfortable and up to date, with cozy beds and clean beach vibes. Their restaurant, Tickets, is located right across the street with GREAT food and an outdoor, upstairs deck. One of our favorite hotels to visit when in Newport/Middletown. We will certainly be back!

Great location and room was comfortable and clean, nice amenities and shower was great. The front desk staff need a crash course in customer service. Rude and appeared annoyed when we had a question. Upon checking in, our room door was ajar (?!?) and the key didn't work. After returning to front desk - no explanation or apology. Three separate visits to the front desk; all felt like they couldn't be bothered to help in anyway.

The Sunday from the terra e on Building #1 is amazing. The sunset from all the rooms on Building #2 are also marvelous, since they all face the “lake”. I love the coin up laundry, the indoor pool, the gym and the beach across the street. Tickets is the best restaurant, right a Cross the street. Mission burgers is delicious. You can walk to the Cliffwalk (20min walking to get to the start line). We even walk downtown from the hotel and take an Uber back. Visit the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge too! Amazing views!

You get what you pay for

Came here for a long weekend with a group of 6. It was my misunderstanding, but there are 2 kings beds in the same room in this suite. I thought it was a 2 bedroom. TLDR: good price point but you get what you pay for. Pros - price point though I still spent over $900 on a Saturday night. - it was clean though the shower was in rough shape - room was spacious. Lots of seating. - there was a hotel attendant in each building Cons - keys were an issue. You can check in on the app but it didn’t work for everyone in our group so we went and got key cards on the second day. What we didn’t know is that once key cards are issued, the app doesn’t work. They originally were only going to give us 3 cards even though the suite sleeps six. - after paying $900/night, I had to pay a parking fee for a second vehicle. Thought it was $10 but it turned out to be $25/day. - dated hotel - coffee was atrocious

The hotel location was great. The hotel was comfortable enough. The only downside was our room location was just outside the lobby so we could hear the door opening and closing loudly very often and we could hear conversations very clearly.

The property was good. It was within walking distance of the beach and the beginning of the cliff walk and a quick drive to the shops in Downtown Newport. There were really no amenities. Their was no lobby restroom to change for the beach and the indoor pool was very tiny. There was a restaurant but it was across the street behind the other building. We were not told about our VIP free drinks. The room and bathroom were clean and good sized with 2 wing chairs and a desk chair. The two king beds were good too. I really just wish there was a little more available at the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. Wish both buildings had a pool and gym but they are right across the street from each other incase you are in building 2 since the amenities are in building 1. Staff were friendly. Great location, right next to the beach and food options.

We found a bug within the room and were not able to be moved. We were not followed up with in the morning. There also seemed to be scratches along the floor in front of the bed. It was very conveniently located to get to Newport, but may have to splurge next time for a hotel without this problem and better facilities.
