The room 329 looks clan and nice; however, the heater wasn’t working at all. I called the front desk 2 times requesting checking on the room 1st answer from the front desk that a technician was coming to check… we wait an hour the technician never show up. 2nd call, the answer from the front desk “the technician is repairing the main heater because the whole hotel was out heat and it will take couple hours. Couple hours pass by and the bedroom was getting cooler by the minute. We call 3rd time to request at least and extra comforter having in consideration of the frozen weather. What they sent? 2 sheets ..really? Because they don’t have extra comforters… unbelievable! So I went to the front desk in person and an older guy (new shift) check the status of our room 329 and he told me that room was out of order. He immediately provided me a new key for a room that actually has heat. Thank you so much to him!! But the other two in the front desk didn’t want to help us at all and on top lie.. that’s the reason they get 1 star

The hotel could use some updates. The coffee shop is convenient and has a few options for breakfast. The walls/doors are extremely thin as I heard much more than I desired during my stay. Overall, the evenings were quiet, the staff was great and the location is optimal, 5 min from EWR.

The room was in okay condition. Not the greatest. It’s a basic hotel that’ll just get the job done. The problem we had was the water in the shower was always cold. Yes we took cold with very light Luke warm water. Not pleasant. I also had a rental car and hit a deep pothole in the parking lot which caused my tire to pop. Shortly after I had a complete flat tire on route 21. I wish my experience was better. I anlso wish I have something more positive to say. However my wife and I expected more from this hotel with what we paid for the room nightly. I could’ve stayed at a motel for a better experience.
