My flight and many others’ flights were cancelled because of the weather, thus a rush for hotel rooms. I booked online based on price and experience with the brand. Room was clean and all one could want or need. Breakfast was very good. However, there was only one person on the desk checking in and she was a bit frazzelled and “remote” , technically complete with instructions and information BUT SHE WAS OVERWORKED. Also, the pickup shuttle from the airport did not arrive, I phoned and the desk person said “he on his way” . He wasn’t. Finally another hotel’s shuttle took pity on me and two others, that shuttle had seen me twice waiting for Holiday Inn Express and took us all in that hotel’s shuttle. He was very kind. I am 82 yr old, it was now dark and cold, and thus I was most grateful. (The early next morning shuttle was perfect.). But again, the problem was there was not enough staff to cope with the results of the flight cancellations, the hotel itself was fine.
