Hotel room was very outdated and could use a major overhaul. Floors were all uneven, carpet was very poorly installed with weird uneven bumps all over. Beds were not very comfortable. The AC unit was very loud and omitted a funky smell. Overall didn’t give you a clean, comforting feeling.

We had a great one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Newark Airport in Elizabeth, NJ. The hotel was quiet and very clean, with thoughtful touches like Dove amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and I want to give a special mention to Dayron at the front desk, who was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The parking lot was well-lit, and the grounds were nicely maintained, which added to the overall positive impression. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant place near Newark Airport.

My stay occurred on a day all planes were cancelled at Liberty National Airport. There was a line out the door and around the building. Thank God I had a reservation. Najah, a solo employee at the front desk, managed the situation SUPERBLY!! Outstanding customer service, greeted everyone with a pleasant smile, patience and thoughtfulness. She controlled the atmosphere with her professionalism & hospitality. She desires a raise & promotion to teach others. Thank you!
