Check in person about the worst in all our years of travel - after waiting several minutes for someone to show up at 9:30 pm which we'd indicated in advane we politely said " hello? hello". She appeared chewing food with mouth open and a scowl..our greeting was " name?"..couldn't find altho we ended up spelling it twice ( 5 letter name) with a conf in hand. Finally found it , handed us the key and pointed to the elevator. There was a huge cleaning cart in lobby and empty cookie plate ( except for the crumbs...ugh) to also " greet us. Nice young woman at check out in a.m. and the included brkfst buffet & on time airport shuttle made it a bit better. Know " hospitality " a hard profession but that part needs help!

I had a great stay here when my flight was cancelled due to a snowstorm. They have free hot coffee and tea in the lobby, and it was easy to have some food delivered from one of the many nearby restaurants. Room was clean and quiet. Had a relaxing hot bath. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning. Scrambled eggs, waffles, fried potatoes, yogurt. My one frustration was finding the shuttle to the hotel, and no one answered the phone when I tried to call the hotel to ask. The shuttle goes to the Airtrain station P3, and getting from the hotel to my terminal did take a while. So give yourself plenty of time if you're going to use the shuttle.

I was assigned a room where the internet didn't work and the entire hallway was freezing because the air conditioning was on despite it being about 20 degrees. Multiple times I came down to front desk to see if they could help with the internet and she told me there was nothing she could do. I asked to be moved to another room and she said No The next day the front desk associate moved me to another room. Without internet, I couldn't order food, book my flight, return emails and calls. It was awful.

Though the room itself was just fine, the customer service from the front desk was deplorable. Our flight was delayed, so I called several times to ensure we were going to right place to catch the airport shuttle. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered to help me, only kept repeating over and over "the shuttle comes twice per hour. Just wait." The shuttle never arrived at P3 and we were stuck outdoors in 5 degrees for nearly an hour before we finally just chose to pay up the nose for a cab at after-hour prices rather than freeze. When we got to the hotel, this same staff person continued to be rude, refused eye contact, and wouldn't explain where the shuttle was. It was nearly 2am before we finally got to our room. The lack of customer service was shocking.
