Great room, with separate sitting room, lots of closets, comfy queen sized beds. Reasonable price by New York City standards. Within walking distance of Theater District but just far enough to be a little quieter.

This is a nice boutique hotel with a residential feel. Our room was not as good as last stay-smaller bedroom and living room even though a higher category and room rate. Air conditioner in the bedroom was noisy, otherwise everything else was in good order. Bed was a little hard, pillows good. Nice location with lots of restaurants adjacent and walk to shopping. Overall a good value for the price.

Very Pleasant Stay!

The location of this hotel was perfect for our stay. Very walkable to major attractions in Mid-town Manhattan and even Uptown. The beds and towels were very comfortable. It is a charming old hotel but is not run down. Check in was very easy and all staff members with whom we had contact were friendly and helpful. Very clean. We will definitely return to The San Carlos!
