The customer service is superb! The hotel is just a minute walk to the subway station. It is in Korea Town so yhere are a lot of Korean resto and grocery. Near Macy’s, Ulta and Empire State Building.

We couldn’t have picked a better location to stay. You are less than a 10 minute walk to many of New York’s attractions. There is a subway station less than a minute from the hotel (Herald Square) that is very convenient to use. We were able to check our luggage before we checked in as well as after we checked out allowing us to explore the city without hauling luggage around. Staff were friendly and helpful. The building is old and shows its age. But it’s part of the ambiance. Breakfast was interesting including Vienna sausage, mashed potatoes, salad with ranch dressing, and toast & bagels. We chose to eat elsewhere. There is no lack of food in the area including some great Korean shops. The view out the window was a brick wall with an occasional pigeon. The beds were extremely comfortable which was way more important than the view. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t the place. If you’re looking for a great location, friendly staff, and a comfy place to sleep, stay here. We would do it again.

This is my second time staying with Hotel Stanford and it was just as nice as the first time. Staff is always very friendly and super helpful! They let you store your bags if you get there earlier than check in time. The location is perfect with many fun places in walking distant. I look forward to staying here again next time I'm in the city. :-)

The hotel is in a convenient location with shopping, eating, and the subway in walking distance. I would have liked a better selection for breakfast, especially in the protein area. Also, my room had a few electric outlets that didn’t work. Overall, the stay was okay, no major problems.

Amazing, great location

Brilliant hotel, easy to grab a basic, light breakfast before heading out in the morning! Room was lovely, it was just that the bathroom taps were in need of fixing as they weren't properly fixed to the sink, so you had to hold them in place whilst turning the tap. Apart from this small detail, the room was at no fault, and the hotel staff were very friendly and made my short stay feel very warm and welcomed. If I ever return to NYC, I will be going back to this hotel.

No ice service in hall, no coffee maker in room, totally dark room (was this the best you could do, a cave on the 2nd floor? It was not busy in the hotel), no ice bucket, NO CUPS!!!---had to request. Basic amenities sorely lacking. Awful place really.

The staff at the hotel was so nice and helpful. Very quick to respond to everyone's needs and extremely efficient. The location was great. Easy to walk to several main attractions and the subway station was a quick 2 minute walk away. The bed and linens were so comfortable. I slept like a baby. I was kind of afraid the noise from the street would keep me awake, but I honestly didn't hear anything once I settled in for the night. I plan on coming back to NY next year and will stay at the Hotel Stanford again. The staff, location, and room made my stay very enjoyable.
