Another great stay at the Indigo near Wall St. Took subway daily to Williamsburg. Easy. Convenient, safe, and clean hotel.

Neat little place, virtually no noise from the outside (in our 5th floor room). Unfortunately, when we got into our room we noticed a bad smell. My initial guess was that somebody had just finished cleaning our room before we arrived and on their way out they passed gas. Then we noticed a lot of loud whooshing, sounding at times like the toilet was flushing, but the sound was not coming from inside our room or our bathroom. Eventually, it became clear that the sound was coming through a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor, halfway from the shower to the toilet. And finally, we realized that the smell was raw sewage flowing under the floor. We were basically getting treated to the sounds and smells of all of the toilets above us and/or around us. NOT NICE.
