Fantastic hotel for myself and my two teen daughters to stay in for a fun night in the city. We felt completely safe and it was within walking distance of many many things that we wanted to see. Will definitely be coming back to stay again. The staff were all kind and helpful!

Location was great- good proximity to Time's Square and Broadway. Sidewalk traffic definitely picked up in the evenings and definitely look out for the bikers/scooters. Construction behind the building was very noisy starting at about 7:30AM each morning. Not sure what an airhorn is needed for in construction but that was a real treat as well. The lobby and hotel is very nice, clean, and smelled great. The staff was nice, the woman who checked us in talked so fast that I had trouble understanding but we figured it out. I appreciated that they held our bags before our room was ready so that we could explore without being loaded down. We didn't eat at Bar Sprezzatura but the view and the restroom was amazing! My mom was really looking forward to the complimentary tattoos listed on the website but they told us that we missed the date even though we were well within the window on the website. I know it's fine print but be aware that you'll have to do a $100 security deposit PER NIGHT PLUS $47 for some other traveling fee? Still waiting for that refund to hit. Overall, would stay here again!

I travel to NY often for work and this was the top hotels I’ve stayed at. The parking garage is attached to the hotel and validated, already 5 stars. Then the staff was incredibly friendly. Even house keeping was smiling and greeting us every time we passed by. The room was spotless, modern and the beds were super comfortable. It was easy to walk to Westside theater which I did to see Little Shop of Horrors and a quick 20 min uber to get to Brooklyn for bars and a comedy show. I’ll definitely be staying again!

All in all I left this hotel dissatisfied. I requested a room on upper floor at check-in and was firmly rebuffed. The clerk would only repeatedly say “we’re sold out”. I emphasized how important low noise level was to me, and he said he was assigning us to great room not facing 8th Ave. When we got to the room, we were assaulted by construction noise coming from large project right behind the hotel! He never disclosed this. The street noise from 48th was terrible at night. I slept very poorly the entire 3-night stay. I approached the same reception clerk mid-stay and he again said nothing was available. I brought up the construction project and he insisted he had told me about it. This was absolutely not true. He also said he had told me to check with him before noon for possible move to higher floor. This was also not true. Shockingly, he was very augmentative. I thought about seeking out the mgr, but was not up to additional confrontation. We departed knowing that despite its great location, we would never stay at this hotel again. The $450/night cost was NOT a good value. The most positive experience we had was with the housekeeper who cleaned our room. She was delightful. The front desk personnel need to take customer service lessons from her!

While the front desk staff member we dealt with was very nice and helpful we had small flies in the bathroom and when moved to another room had the same problem. This was our second stay at the hotel but was our last.

A few issues this time.

We have stayed at this property somewhere near 15 times. We love it because of its great location. This time we had a few issues. This time, we had issues with the shower, where it was erratically hot, then cold, then low water pressure. Also, the AC was not cooling sufficiently.

The location was convenient to Times Square, many Broadway shows and the subway. Biggest downside was that the AC didn't really work well, so our room was pretty hot the whole time.

This hotel is located in the middle of all the action in Times Square. Very easy to walk to everything , room size is decent and staff was ok , could be more friendly . The area has many dining options and many things to do especially the theaters .
