The Element at San Jose and San Clara have me spoiled. The Element NYC Room aesthetic was lacking. Wall paper peeling, mild in the bathroom, shower faucet fell off. Daytime staff was not customer centric. Room service was supposed to be every other day but was not consistent and only consisted of clean towels and taking out trash. Telephones were not working, kitchen staff was rude when replenishing supplies during breakfast. Breakfast patio was cold , I can only imagine the heat during summer.

The location is amazing, and in addition to being in the middle of Times Square, the hotel provides breakfast, and comfortable accommodations.

Excellent location, few minutes from New York Times building, close to times square. Subway, pizza shop is just opposite with great new York pizza, Mcdonald not far, Room was spotless, breakfast was great, we had a room on 26th floor so had good view, good staff. Highly recommend
