This hotel was very clean and spacious for a New York hotel. The staff was very charming and friendly, and I could not complain about the city view that we got (we were able to see the Empire State Building!) The elevators were a bit slow and cramped, but manageable to use. Breakfast was also really good with lots of unique, yet versatile options. Overall, I'd highly recommend The Element, especially for first-timers.

For one they forgot my special request for my birthday. The security was rude to the guest and the front desk staff pretty much said it was protocol. The hotel was ok overall, breakfast was good but with the elevator down it took away so much precious time from the day.

Everything was fine EXCEPT that, with 40 floors and poorly working elevators (one completely broken), the situation was difficult to get up and down. If you were above the 10th floor, you often had to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait. Really not a premium experience for the price we paid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing works the elevator the phones, there are lines to go up and down the elevator the wait times can be as long as 40 mins very inconvenient for travel and wanting to get in your room and out. We stay 10.16-10.20 will never stay here let alone a smaller hotel like this again. The manager offered to refund a night we agreed but if customers are not speaking up the hotel will be okay with the inconvenience and spea

Great location, comfy rooms, and excellent service from the crew. The room has full kitchen with a normal size fridge and freezer, they even have utensils and pantry. The hotel's breakfast is one of the best breakfast ever, not the typical continental (bread and jelly with coffee), they had the most complete buffet ever. Definitely im coming back soon!

Fit our needs well as a family. Room was quiet and beds comfortable. Facilities were clean. Breakfast was ok but staff were nice. Breakfast area was typically very busy, but well maintained. Elevators were slow and one was not in service. We used the stairs a lot…:luckily we were only on level 7

The room was spacious and clean and had an excellent city view for the price as compared to other nearby hotels I have stayed in. The rooms could use some updating but overall not bad. There is a good breakfast included daily and they do a relax/ happy hour Monday thru Thursday with free beer and wine. I would stay again.

I arrived earlier than check in and was able to get my room straight away (which was very appreciated as there was a storm coming in and I had hardly no voice from travelling). The rooms are fantastic. Quite big for New York! Bed was super comfortable, you could cook if you want to as well. The tv has Netflix which was amazing. The elevators do take some time but it wasn’t a bother for me. If you think it might be ask for a lower floor so you can comfortable take the stairs.

We went to New York for the first time celebrate my mom’s birthday. I love how the area was close to many shops, stores and Times Square so we walked most of the trip everywhere even to Chelsea Studios to see the Sherri Show. I loved how they had many selections of options for breakfast each morning especially for those who don’t eat pork. Some days turkey sausage is served but not everyday. We stayed from Wednesday-Saturday and were happy to find out during weekdays the hotel provides complimentary snacks and drinks in the hotel from 5-6:30 pm. Rooms were a nice size for 2 people and modern with mini kitchen setup (fridge, stove, microwave and sink) along with utensils in drawer. There was a nice view of street and Manhattan building across. The glass showers were very pretty as well. Housekeeping comes every other day and staff was helpful. Overall would stay here again!
