The Aura is a nice hotel without the bells and whistles. Parking in next door at a CityPark. Prices were ok considering I have paid over 200 for a weekend stay before.

The toilet was stopped up and within 5 mins the maintenance guy showed up. We never ran out of towels. Very great experience. I will definitely look to stay again, upon my return to New York.

The staff was arogant. There is no services provided that hotels globally offer. The hotel was like it was in Benin rather than downtown Manhattan. It is just a waste of space.

The bed was so comfortable, and you honestly wouldn’t know you were literally around the corner from Times Square. It was so quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Rooms look better than in reality. The hotel seems to have focussed their refurbishment on the reception area than the rooms. No hot water on the first night, low water pressure throughout the stay. Room smells of smoke and the noisiest air conditioning unit. Top it off the Managers were unresponsive and incompetent. General Manager and other staff were fine and helpful.
