Here are my thoughts based on my 3 night experience in December 2025.
This seems like it used to be a nice hotel but is now a little rundown.
Con’s:
- Not the cleanest space
- My room had multiple issues upon arrival - toilet blocked, main light not working, shelf hanging off in the bathroom, only 1 towel, not enough bedding for pull out couch.
- Breakfast - although free, it was pretty crappy. Day 1 they didn’t have any forks. Also most items were not being offered that day (no pancakes, muffins, yogurt, only 1 out of 3 juice available). Also this is a plastic spoon and paper plate kinda breakfast. My two teens were fed up with breakfast by day three (and they are not picky eaters at all). We ended up skipping it and buying breakfast outside.
- Upon arrival, like most hotels you need to have a credit card on file. However, they charge you $250 immediately. And then said they will reimburse you 3-5 days after your stay. I’m still waiting.
- You must notify the front desk if you want your room serviced. They will not do this unless you specifically ask.
Pros:
- Nice quiet area
- About a 20 minute walk from the French quarter or a $9.00 uber ride.
- Able to store your luggage in a locked place when you check out.
- Free popcorn once a day in the lobby.
Based on my experience, I would not stay at this place again.
