If you want to stay in the French Quarter you’ve got to stay here. You’re going to pay extra but It’s convenient, clean and lovely however, the hotel restaurant used for breakfast isn’t good at all. Skip it and hit the streets for a huge selection of better eats.

Room was okay, hotel upgraded us to Balcony for $400 but it ended up $551 with so many charges. Check in time at 4 PM is unreasonable during events, also there is no way to park near the hotel. Drag luggage to the hotel. We just feel the upgrade was just worth it. For the money we paid Expedia charge + 551 we ended up paying $800 for an unwhelmimg experience. On top parking charges separate. We now experience not to stay at this hotel next time.

The room was perfect size. The amenities were great. Although the fitness room was under construction I was accommodated with another option to get my workout in. The best part of the stay was the hospitality received from one of the managers (April). I am forever thankful to have met her and her staff!

rooms are clean. right in the middle of burboun street which is the happenning place in new orleans FRENCH Quarter. Noise minimal but present due to the activity in the area. The exercise center was not functional. They charged me a "security fee" which was disclosed ahead of time but I found it that a hotel chain as big as Sonesta has to charge me a security fee when that is part f doing business.Moreover the security people were not present all the time
