We called this hotel for 6 months to verify we would have 4 of our rooms together as we were celebrating our friends 10 year wedding anniversary. Upon check in we were informed our rooms were not together and this is not a guarantee even. But the worst part was there were no apologies and they were rather rude about the situation. Only 2 rooms were even in the same floor. The room I had the sink faucet was half broke, fan didn’t work and room needs updating. Definitely not the New Orleans I’ve grown to know of the usual southern hospitality from the 10 times I have visited the city. I’d highly recommend another hotel for your travels

Cannot beat the location for Bourbon Street. Easy walk to great restaurants and art galleries. Room was clean with great view of downtown skyline. Staff fantastic. Would recommend the cooking school class. Was educational fun. Great stay!

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Bourbon street, so if staying there expect the noise of reveling late into the night; its location is convenient for being out and about on-foot in the French Quarter. The biggest issue for me was, as a wheelchair-bound person, I did find the accessibility features a bit challenging. I do understand that it's an old building with structural limitations for implementing certain accessibility features. That said, the toilet lacked hand rail bars, and I had to roll into the shower in order to transfer from my wheelchair to the toilet. We did enjoy the stay in spite of the challenges.

It’s an older hotel in a high traffic area, so there are a few things that show wear and tear. Overall it is a clean and neat hotel, and security at the door made me feel safe, but upgrading the elevators to require a room key would have made me feel safer

When I was checking in I had a problem with reservations and the so-called night manager you didn't have a manager tag on said basically is not his problem he was rude and didn't care about helping anyone told us only certain rooms are available went online and found other rooms were available ask for a room close to the elevator and gave me a room the farthest away from the elevator the only was he not helpful he was rude which inflamed my attitude Expedia messed up the reservations or the hotel did should be my problem his answer was call Marriott they can fix it I don't have anything to do with it and left us hanging sitting in the lobby with no answers wouldn't want somewhere else but I had no choice but stay here since there's more people involved than just me to other couples Rito's rooms are unavailable all he had was a single bed or a single queen bed when they checked online they found other rooms available that they can use so they booked it this is the worst experience I've had with any hotel in 10 years once again I didn't appreciate when I asked could you be getting close to the elevator and he said and they gave me a room the father's room from the elevator they have no people skills I tried to compose myself but it was very difficult I take pride and not losing my temper or having an attitude but these people made it impossible not to be upset the upset my guest and the upset me I find little reason for their attitude to inflame the situation
