Problem solved

The hotel was really nice upon first arriving and the location was awesome. Our room at check in was really cool with high high ceilings, brick walls and beam across the ceiling. You could see the history. Unfortunately though the toilet wasn't clean, the door would shut but could only open from the outside, the bed was horrible and there was no microwave. We did mention the bed issue after the first night and they sent someone to inspect the issue. They were going to replace the mattress but were unable to, so they just gave us another room, which In my opinion was way better than the first as far as comfort. Overall it was a really cool place to stay and the staff were courteous and helpful. If they would upgrade mattresses and add microwaves it'd be perfect.

You cant park here, all traffic stops 3 blocks away, what a nightmare trying to uload luggage. This is not the place to stay. Pick a different hotel.

We had something valuable stolen from our zipped suitcases while gone down for breakfast. Contacted security immediately who didn’t offer much hope. Pretty sure we know who stole it but security said they had exhausted all means. We have reported it to the authorities

I ended up waiting nearly an hour for a check-in call, and when it never came, I just headed to the front desk and eventually got my room. The hotel rep took the card I used for payment and wrote down that they’d withhold $420 (even though I’d already paid $104). Then they ended up taking $555 from the wrong card, saying it was a security deposit of $60 per night—a charge I was never told about. I also reported a bunch of issues: the cold water faucet in the bathroom didn’t work, the bathtub leaked nonstop, and the toilet just kept running and leaking. None of these problems were addressed during my stay. On the plus side, they did sort out the air conditioning after I mentioned it wasn’t working when I arrived. The staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. I do plan to contact management and the third party I utilized for booking.
