The home was on a great location on the river! We all enjoyed the dock and floating out back, as well as close proximity to the Comal to float. Overall, the home just needs to be updated and some amenities upgraded. The consistent word among myself and friends was that the beds were all hard and/or uncomfortable. Also, time to pull up the carpet and put in something that can be sanitized easier. The house was plenty big, loved the big kitchen and table with plenty of seating. Just needs some TLC and updating.

Short weekend to meet our soldier!

This was a fantastic meeting ground for us to meet our soldier halfway! The property was close to everything but also yet secluded enough for us to get the much-needed family time. Everyone had their space to relax, but also had great gathering spaces for us to play games hang out by the lake, fish and to catch fireflies. Core memories were made, and these were fantastic accommodations for our short time together.

3 Generation Family Vacay

We had a Fischer park day, a Schlitterbahn day, and a tube the Guadalupe river day. We also enjoyed evening swims in the river jumping off the boat dock. We grilled dinner one night. Location and house were perfect for our group of 7. 3 kids, 2 adults and 2 Srs.

The home was nice, the property was not maintained. My sister and I were walking down to the pier and both of us got cuts from branches even with shoes on. The deck was nice but after getting into the water there wasn’t a ladder to help get out. I understand that this home stated no pets, but I felt it was unnecessary when my daughter and fiance showed to hang out, she brought her 2 little dachshunds I received a phone call almost n a threatening manner for them to vacate immediately! Which they did but the first day of my only vacation was very upsetting.

We were just a little disappointed with the outside of the property...the big grassy lawn was dried and dead....the area that was green hadn't been cut in a while....so kids couldn't really use the area to play in.....didn't realize water was so low so kids were unable to get into the water.....it would have been helpful if that information had been uploaded to the website.

The house was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of 7. My only disappointment was the overgrown river access. The weeds were very high. We were unable to enjoy the river area. That area looked nothing like the posted pictures.

Family had a great time.

The home was clean, spacious and had a very nice large - equipped kitchen. The yard was large down to the back water. Only two improvements needed. Better mattresses and secure fencing at back by the water. Our family had a great time.

Overall a positive experience - BUT...

The home was lovely we enjoyed the kitchen a lot! We did have some hot water issues in the downstairs bathroom and some water pressure issues. Downstairs toilet was difficult to flush at times. Probably needs some maintenance in those areas but otherwise it was very clean, cozy, and the river & deck were peaceful.
