Great coral and fish in front of the hotel, mantas are close by and amazing, resort is nice- more on the rustic side vs fancy, but we liked that. Overall a nice experience!

My son and I stayed with Bill and Paula and it was amazing. If you want to experience remote versus resort, this is where you go! I felt lucky being there and learning about village life and Bill and Paula's family, which touched my heart. It was extremely special in so many ways. Hearing the nightly village bell and drums calling villagers to church, eating fresh food prepared by Paula from the garden and trees, sunset hand line fishing with Bill, snorkeling with the sharks, walking down the beach to sand bar at low tide, and walking through the village. I dont know if will be ever be on that side of the world again, but if i ever was in the area again, I honestly would stop by and say hello. I miss Bill and Paula! It was a tearful goodbye!

Je vais essayer de faire un commentaire aussi précis que possible afin de vous aider au mieux. En effet, nous avons eu très peur en lisant les commentaires existants. Logement : Les chambres sont très bien : le lit est confortable, la chambre est propre et spacieuse. Il y a des moustiquaires à chaque fenêtre, en bon état. Il n'y a pas d'insectes bizarres, juste des fourmis, mais vous êtes en pleine nature, c'est normal. Il n’y a pas d’eau chaude, attention aux personnes sensibles au froid. La chambre est effectivement équipée d’un ventilateur, mais le courant n’est actif que quelques heures par jour, donc le ventilateur aussi. Si vous gérez bien les recharges, vous n’aurez pas de problème de batterie. Avec une SIM Vodafone, j'ai eu du réseau partout où je suis allé. Je n’ai pas utilisé le wifi de l’hôtel. La nourriture est bonne et variée. Cependant, si vous êtes sportif et que vous avez un grand appétit, les portions peuvent ne pas suffire. Pour le dernier repas, j'ai peut-être donné l'impression de ne pas avoir assez mangé, mais on m'a proposé une autre assiette. Le petit déjeuner est très rassasiant, le déjeuner est pauvre et le dîner est plus copieux. Vous aurez le droit à un bon dessert avec le dîner. Il y a peu de protéines animales. Pour la quantité, je ne peux pas leur en vouloir, beaucoup mangent deux bouchées et laissent leur assiette… ou la donnent aux chiens. One of the best places I've ever stayed. The location is perfect, forget any doubts about going to the Yasawas vs mainland. Staff are very friendly. Setup of the bures is amazing, would love to have some blinds or more privacy in the bedroom, this sounds worse than it is, minor thing. More flippers/ snorkelling gear would be great.

We have left a piece of our heart at Naqalia Lodge and at the Yasawa Island. The staff and Management at Naqalia went above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of amazing and they were always smiling and happy to help. We stayed in the garden Bure, a traditional Fijian house, which was a pretty authentic experience of the life on the island. The food was home cooked, traditional and always in very generous portions. We sat at the table with the other guests and were a "family -like" meal times while the staff and management was playing guitar and singing songs for us. The lodge is on the beach surrounded by nature at the feet of a mountain, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the other island when you wake up with the sounds of chicken and roosters roaming around the Bure. The coral reefs just off the beach are SPECTACULAR, we could see many tropical fish of every colour, size and shape. It definitely was one of the best snorkeling spots that we have been to. The lodge offers also paid activities such as shark feeding, fishing and village visit. We spent 4 days there but we really wished we could stay more. Vinaka.
