It’s like a thin line between love and hate. Love the resort, weather, pools, beach, activities but the service is horrible and the workers had attitude. This might be because everywhere you go there is already a 15% gratuity fee that you must pay when buying something. I believe people there figure that no matter how their service is they will still receive a gratuity tip. I had employees forget my drinks at the bar, multiple employees rolled their eyes at me or my family, being ignored, one didn’t want to give me a plastic spoon for my cheesecake, appears they are forced to work, anytime when asking an employee something they gave attitude. These are waiters, housekeepers, bartenders, cocktails waitresses, gift shops, ice cream store, I mean literally 95% had bad service. Also my refrigerator was not working, reported then it was replace the next day after calling again to only have it replace with another one not working. After I just gave up and did not bother anymore. A couple workers that were nice, the luggage takers, front desk and only one waiter. I mean only one and his name was Kendrick from the breakfast buffet Poisedon at the Royal. The only guy that had a smile but unfortunately it was my last day, I even gave him an extra tip. I don’t think I would ever go back to the Bahamas, I have visited Thailand, Dominican Republic, China, Mexico and Atlantis was by far the worst in service. Felt like I was not welcomed and uncomfortable. Would write more but no more space
