All restaurants(except the buffet) require reservations and the website doesn’t state that. By the time you arrive, it is difficult to get one. I arrived on a Sunday and the earliest available was Wednesday. Room was cleaned and only one towel left the first day and none the second day. An employee yelled at me for trying to get a chair on the beach. Stated there were other open chairs I should use(how would I know what was not occupied)

Rooms were spacious, so was the bathroom. Very noisy from huge air-conditioners below. Even though I was in 6th floor. Pool area could be more spacious due to amount of guests. Infinity pool way too cramped with swim to bar. Buffet meals were above average and staff was accommodating. No heat in the rooms so very cold in the room. My A/C was off and I had to open window to warm up the room during the day.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riu. The staff was great, super friendly and helpful. There were a couple staff membership at the outside bar that were a little unfriendly and rude. Our AC in our room didn't work, it was quite warm in our room . We called down a few times to have someone come and look at it and only 1 time djd they come. I would ask for water to be sent up to our room and a bag for laundry while I was downstairs at the front desk, the items never came. If I called from my room and asked for items though, they seemed to come. The food was great, the drinks were great. For the most part we enjoyed our stay.

Restaurant staff was fantastic! Engaged and happy to serve clients. From desk staff and customer service desk staff HORRIBLE. Short not helpful not engaged to make a client feel welcomed or valued. They all should go to training to serve!! And exceed expectations and provide a wonderful experience. Asked about dinner at al a carte restaurants zero help asked about airport transfer zero help . Told or messaged at booking that one should pre book alacarte restaurants in advance zero engagement or assistance. Facility was very nice as far as lobby, restaurants, etc. The rooms, however, need work and updating. Sink wouldn’t drain, A/C did not work properly, drawers in dressers wouldn’t close properly. Minor things in the room. We had a fabulous time and experience otherwise

I like that this property is still as nice as it was before when I came and stayed here a couple of years ago. I also noticed that it has been upgraded or renovated to still look just as nice.
