Wasn't a fan of the 15 story hotel. Only 3 elevators and one of them was usually out of commission. Dining with our group was almost impossible unless it was at the buffet. Our safe was not in working order. We spoke to the front desk and still put in a work order thru the app and it was never fixed our entire 7 day stay. Staff at the bar were not the friendliest and were slow serving because they seemed to want to finish their conversation with their coworkers first. The swim up pool was beyond filthy one day and should have really been shut down. The staff on the beach that set up the chairs were amazing. The wait staff in all the restaurants were amazing. The hotel seemed to be Out of a lot of food items while we were there. First 2 days, no bananas. Never could we order an Irish Coffee because there was no Baileys and then day 3 we could no longer get a Caramel Latte because they ran out of caramel. Came to this Riu to trial Riu's because we are going to Cancun in Oct. Riu will not be a choice.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. Did not like the peddlers on the beach. Did not like the small beach area dedicated to the guests. Did not like that it was right next to a public beach area - kind of negates the Adult Only aspect.

I was very impressed with thr dining options and the beach was wonderul The app required to book restauramts and order items for thr room didnt work half thr time. The staff at the bar were rude and unacco odating alot.. housekeeping was great

Visited for pur honeymoon and from the man in the taxi cab to the resort all the way to the ticket ahent at the counter leaving this paradise were the most polite people ive been around. The resort was very clean and the all inclisive deal was well worth it! The food was very good, endless drinks was awesome and it was just a grat time!

The view from our room was beautiful. The food was OK, but most of the staff was rude, the elevators wouldn’t work, they were out of coffee in the room and we had money stolen by the cleaning lady. Their Internet was very spotty so it was very difficult for me to get onto their app to make reservations. The Bahamas themselves was gorgeous, but I will not stay at this all-inclusive resort again. We have stayed at a few in. This has been the worst one.

The staff was amazing, but there was a foul odor in the lobby and in our room (1108). Also for 2 out of the 4 days out toilet didn’t flush despite having someone come “fix it” multiple times. Also there was little to no water pressure in the shower. The swim up pool bar was also extremely dirty and had a white foam floating all over the corners of the pool. I hate complaining especially when the staff was so great, but upgrades can definitely be made.

I love this resort, staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurants are wonderful. Great rooms. Right at the beach with excursions avaliable. Ive been 2x and plan on returning multiple times yearly

The first day we got there someone on our floor was screaming and making a huge scene. Something was leaking in our room, the bathroom shower was dirty it had rust and like green oxidation on the shower head. When booking through Expedia is said we got $1,260 resort credits, it’s not credits it’s coupons (and not good ones ($15 off a $280 massage). They don’t tell you at check in you must return your towel cards and room keys otherwise checking out is difficult. The spa credit card machine was down for 3 days so we brought cash then they didn’t have change. Overall I will probably never book with RIU again.

Staff friendly & kind. Buffet had nice selecting, including many vegetarian options. Beds & pillows comfortable. View was beautiful. Hard to get reservations at the hotel restaurants, and yet, when they are fully booked, they appear to be half-empty. We ate at the buffet all but one night because there were no restaurant spots avaliable, even though they're was a lot of unused seating each time. Mini-bar cabinet was unlocked our whole stay & 2 bottles actually fell out of it, which we had to put back in as best we could. Bathroom could use a bit of updating (and more water pressure in the shower), and vinyl floor in bedroom was bubbling up as if there was past water damage, but nothing that affected our time there - just an observation as fellow business owners. Overall a great stay. Will choose Riu Palace again in future.
