Yes it was a lovely room. The front desk staff wa svery pleasant and helpfull. The location is central right across beautiful beach. Most of all our trip was made pleasant by Nazir, very friendly caring and made us laugh. It wouldnt have been the same without him. We will come back in the near future

The breakfast was fine but throughout the entire weekend, the hotel would just randomly lose power. Everywhere else had power, but the hotel would just be super spotty for hours. I was running on the treadmill and the power went out and I fell down and almost died. Plus there was a random "resort fee" that I had to pay for. This was not mentioned anywhere, otherwise I would have not even booked this place. I even talked to front desk about the power issue and they said that they would come and try to reimburse me for the inconvenience but that of course never happened.. Worst Holiday Inn ever.

This hotel is okay, but I didn’t really enjoy my stay. They allowed a timeshare agent named Marcia inside the hotel, and she was very pushy about attending a timeshare presentation — which we regret joining big time. It felt like a scam, and I think the hotel should do a better job protecting their guests from this kind of experience.

The ride from the airport is about 25 minutes. Gas is expensive on the island so cabs are also expensive. We decided on the Holiday Inn because they offer daily breakfast which was satisfying enough. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The hotel itself was clean. Our room was very small. The furniture was old. The bathroom was small but they did offer shampoo/conditioner and body wash which was helpful. The shower water was lukewarm, but the bed was comfortable. We were disappointed with their beach set up. They have a hut right across the street from the hotel that supplies loungers, but there was no set up. We had to go back across to the hotel to inquire at which point they said they would send someone which took almost 2 hours. Even then we received super hard plastic longers with no cushions. We were surrounded by plastic water bottles and food containers left behind. There are other vendors on either side that rent chairs for 10 dollars. They took the time to rake their side of garbage and seaweed and place their chairs out nice and neat. The Holiday Inn will just bring loungers out when needed and again not comfortable at all. The 2nd day someone was there when we arrived but we basically had to drag the chairs out ourselves. The area has alot to offer with food vendors and restaurants. Food and drinks are pricey. I didnt like that there was a woman in the hotel lobby every morning trying to get people to go on a trip to sell timeshares. It got annoying.
