Nice staff but breakfast and an orange juice 40 dollars. They add parmesan cheese to things without asking. Breakfast bacon was unbreakable with a knife. My problem was a flight change getting me there at 8am check in time is 4pm. They did find me a room at 12. But beware 314 has huge air conditioning units outside the window. Rooms have low lighting. Pool is rooftop but only 8 sunbeds. Has music played constantly so not a relaxing area. Its not a pool to swim in unless you are a small child. Location okay but raddison and holmewood suites very close. Would I stay there next time in Nashville probably not would return to holmwood suites where I stayed previously

We had a large group staying at Holston House for a birthday week. The building itself is smaller and beautiful, with real charm and character. Guest room was great and I found the pillows so comfortable. The bathroom was clean, large, and well appointed with plenty of counter space and towel hangers inside the large shower. We included breakfast in our stay and loved the options at the inhouse restaurant. I had avocado toast three days straight - that's how delicious it was. The bar had a wonderful atmosphere, menu, and engaged bartenders. The rooftop pool is small and shallow, and it's just enough to cool off in and enjoy the view. There is also a bartender on site. Our group did have one snag during our stay, but the manager and front of house staff stepped in immediately to find a solution and really went the extra mile to accommodate us. This kind of response is rare and much appreciated! The location can't be beat; just off Broadway, it's a quick walk downtown without the noise or crowds. I would definitely rebook Holston House on a return visit!
