The hotel is huge and cavernous- religious artifacts everywhere and awful ‘modern art’. Oddly arranged rooms not like the photos on website. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Honestly we fell in love with this hotel. So much to explore with art and hidden corners and history. We dined in both nights and it was extraordinary. Giuseppe and his team took great care of. I highly recommend the Chateaubriand.

Not at the center but we liked that. The only ‘bad’ point is that it’s on a hill and climbing up from town is not an easy task after good IT dinner ;-)

We were told we could visit the restaurant/bar when we checked in, but then found it were rented out for private event and we could not be served. Also, rooftop amenities are seasonal and are not advertised as such. No water in the room either.

It was a monastery converted to a hotel, I found that fascinating. I wish there was tea and coffee in the rooms. That was very disappointing. Did not expect that in a 4 star hotel.

Wonderful view of the bay from our room and the restaurant/breakfast room. Clean and well maintained room with very good bed and quality pillows. Staff was helpful and conscientious.
