Just a magical stay at the Heritance Tea Factory. You definitely come here to stay here for a bit as it's not near the main road, but it's so peaceful and bucolic. The sunrise over the tea fields was spectacular, but the highlight for the kids was tea picking and the dinner in the railcar. We stayed in the Flowerdew Suite, which was enormous, but the only slight gripe is that I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and realistically there was only the one king bed and a sofa, and since the kids wants to sleep together, they decided to sleep on the floor. They actually had no complaints and said it was comfortable so we let it be.

Very beautiful property, including a nice pool and good gym! Even has a game room and kids playing area! Food was incredibly good and half board is included! Would come again

We had a very enjoyable stay, thanks to the beautiful location; excellent, friendly, personalised attention from all the staff; and delicious food at every meal - both the western food and Sri Lankan curry were superb. Our room was spacious, with all the modern conveniences and superior amenities one could need. We had a lovely walk one day and a very interesting tour of the Dilmah tea factory.

Staff is good they don’t have air conditioners.

The building looks lovely and the grounds are beautiful BUT the room wasn’t great , the bathroom had an old shower curtain and the shower was above the bath. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was small and dark. it was my birthday and there was no mention of this even though my husband had given advanced information. The buffet and dining room looked spectacular but the food quality wasn’t what we were expecting given the visual wow factor. My least favourite hotel whilst staying in Sri Lanka.
