From reception and restaurant service to room service and amenities, our experience was mixed. In the restaurant, Mr. Manglem and Mr. Ravikiran provided brilliant customer service and genuinely tried their best to learn from team mistakes.
Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet 5-star standards. The in-room amenities were limited to toothbrushes and a shaving kit — there were no toiletry bags or vanity kits. The shower also flooded, causing water to spill outside the shower area.
The bellboy and security team were excellent. Our room was upgraded due to a lack of communication within the team. However, when we tried to use the happy hour service, we were told it was not included and that the upgrade applied only to the room. This again showed poor communication and was quite an embarrassing experience for us.
Compared to Radisson Blu hotels in other cities, the Mysore property needs to improve its performance, customer service, quality, attention to detail, and staff training to provide prompt service to guests. Even the reception restrooms lacked basic essentials such as toilet paper and hand towels.
Overall, we are very disappointed with Radisson Blu Mysore. We wish the hotel all the best for the future. Thank you to the staff members who made us feel valued as guests. Special recognition should go to Mr. Manglem, Mr. Ravikiran, and the restaurant team from hotel management.
