Check in was friendly and efficient but only 1 of the 2 elevators was working. It did get fixed the next day. The thermostat in our room was not working, they sent some to check who confirmed it was not. They found another room for us so we had to repack and move our things. The hotel is a bit older and it shows in the walls but the beds are comfortable and the bathroom looks newly renovated and modern. There is a major building renovation directly across the street so it’s noisy during the day. It’s about a 20 walk to old town. The only major plus is that it’s a 5 min walk to the Munich Central Station - trains, rail, and underground. Breakfast which is an extra charge is ok, with hot and cold options and good variety. Quality is just ok. I expected a bit more from this hotel and would probably stay elsewhere if I return to Munich.

My stay was great and the room was excellent. My only advice would be to give guests written directions on how to use the microwave, dishwasher and stove top when guests check in. The air conditioning was great and the people at the front desk were also excellent. Also lower the price of your breakfast. $24 is outrageously overpriced.

The space was comfortable but small. The only space for our big suitcase was on the floor in front of the door. We had to close the door and use the slider through the common area to get to the bathroom. This made it a bit more difficult for our adult kid who was in the common area. The floor under the sleeper couch in the common room was dusty which triggered allergies. There was a bag of trash in one of the kitchen cabinets left from someone else. I put it out to be collected. Otherwise the space was clean.

Munich hôtel with kitchen

Great place in great location near the train station. Rooms were very spacious and kitchen stocked for convenience. Staff were friendly and answered questions. Stayed with a friend and would recommend for travel. Despite nearby construction outside, did not hear noise from our room, which also had nice views.

The front desk staff, Hassan is super great! He offers very professional service and very considerate to guest needs. Very friendly and helpful and all other staff of the hotel is very good. All are very polite! I have a very pleasant experience here. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if I come Munich! There is no other better option !

I enjoyed my 4-night stay at Aparthotel Adagio very much. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the room and facilities were excellent. Easy walking distance to main train station, and the useful Tram 19 is nearby for the Altstatt (or the U-Bahn is also nearby). I thought there would be street/construction noise but with the window closed there was no problem. Super place to stay, will definitely come back and I recommend it highly!

The stay started off great and deteriorated quickly. We had to move rooms when we saw a huge cockroach and when we heard a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors despite the rooms being advertised as soundproofed. The staff was forthcoming with us moving rooms and gave us a room in a different wing of the hotel which was much quieter. Unfortunately, the silicone around the shower cubicle had become very mouldy which was the same in our original room. On top of this, one of the cleaning staff knocked on our door and only gave us about 10 seconds to answer before opening the door with their master key card at 10am despite our 11am check out time. When I told the individual, he was apologetic and left us alone, but this was incredibly unsettling for my partner as she felt it was a breach of her safety. Improvements can be made to this service by removing the false idea of soundproofing in the hotel description, increasing the pest control and cleanliness, re-siliconing bathroom areas, and training staff to wait longer after knocking and also telling them to double-check check out times.
