Our month-long stay at Pozzo di San Barnaba was absolutely wonderful; truly the trip of a lifetime. It was the perfect place for our extended family and friends to come and go, to enjoy togetherness at the villa and to take excursions in Tuscany and beyond. Our host was so very kind, friendly and helpful, in sharing her beloved villa and charming property, the Mugello region, its people and cuisine. She was always available for help with everyday needs, restaurant choices, chef and driver arrangements, and more. The villa's kitchen is top-notch for cooking in, or for hosting our amazing chef, who provided over-the-top experiences with delicious regional specialties. Then there was the amazing experience of watching the local pizzaiolo build a fire and cook scrumptious pizzas in the on-site stone hearth oven. The region surrounding the villa is absolutely stunning, and full of everything vacationers could want, from yummy gelato shops to historic art and architecture dating back centuries. We all came home with heartwarming stories of special encounters with the genuinely warm and gracious people of Tuscany. Choose Pozzo di San Barnaba for an unforgettable vacation immersed in the beauty and culture of this special place!
