The location was really nice in the park. The view of Rainier from outside the lodge was beautiful. Restaurant onsite was good. Room was clean but dated. Staff was friendly.

Located in Ashford, Gateway Inn is in the historical district, a 1-minute drive from Mount Rainier National Park and 13 minutes from Longmire Museum.
The better cabins are very beautiful. The suites are a room in a ~70's hotel building, they are not beautiful in my opinion. Look at the pictures closely. The resort is walking distance to Mt Rainier Park, you could not be closer. I will definitely stay in one of these cabins again, had a great ...
