In the heart of wine country. Daily tastings from 5 in the hotel, would stay here again
Amazing hotel, close to the wineries which makes it perfect, convenient and perfect place experience.
Really clean accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood. “Offsite” is not an issue as it’s just a short walk to hotel. No flare ups with my dust allergy so I will definitely return again!
Nice room with all mod cons and big spa. Comfy bed and lots of space. Would be happy to stay for longer. Close to shops etc.
Have been using the Highlander regularly over the last few years when we visit family. Great value for money.

Do you spend more time off with the fairies than actually doing your job? Find yourself flicking through old travel posts waayyy too much? Time for a Mount Crawford holiday. Accommodation options in Mount Crawford's downtown area are on the thin side. But if you're okay with a short drive, you can easily stay in one of the 5 hotels within 10 kilometres of the centre.
You might also like to try the Kingsford Homestead, which is situtated 19 kilometres away. Or you might like the Abbotsford Country House, just a distance of 12 kilometres from Mount Crawford. If those options aren't your cup of tea, you may prefer the Jacobs Creek Retreat Bed & Breakfast or the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort.
Beer or champagne? However you like to roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Rowland Flat, 10 kilometres away. With Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park and Mengler Hill Lookout to check out, you'll have plenty to keep you busy. If you'd like to spend a few nights in Rowland Flat, look into the Barossa Dreams and Barossa Valley Apartments. Or, you could consider staying in Lyndoch, 11 kilometres to the northwest of Mount Crawford, where you'll find the Belle Escapes Barossa and Barossa Country Cottages. The TeAro Estate Tasting Room and Whispering Wall are just some of the most popular places to explore for those visiting Lyndoch.
After landing, there's nothing like a bubbly bath followed by a nap in a soft cosy bed. So why not book a room at the Lockleys Hotel or the Aviators Lodge Motel? Each is within close proximity to Adelaide Airport, which sits 50 kilometres from Mount Crawford's centre.
