Stress tip: Get up, stretch a bit, book a Guayas hotel, head to the airport, jump on a plane, never return. Or something to that effect. While it's pretty difficult to stay in the very centre, there is accommodation close by. Choose from 2 hotels within 10 kilometres of downtown Morro.

Snag a room at Playa Paraíso and Hotel Titopolis and know that a hot shower and comfy bed are just a short drive away.

Don't shoot through before you've checked out the La Piazza and Riocentro Entre Rios in Guayaquil. The Hilton Colon Guayaquil and Courtyard by Marriott Guayaquil are just some of the great hotel and apartment options here. 80 kilometres to the northwest of Morro you'll find Salinas, which is home to the Barceló Salinas and Hotel Marvento Uno. Pleasant stay and what impressed me the most is that I forgot my phone in one of the lounge areas for almost half a day and I thought I lost it. When I went back looking for it, it was exactly in the same spot. No one touched it. It was such a relief. Safe and secure. Love this place. Staff is super nice and welcoming. I thought I was in a 5 star resort in the Caribbean or Cancun.
