Very nice hotel well located

I specifically booked as have stayed at Raddison in Edinburgh and Cape Town. I messaged them 2 weeks in advance requesting Spa appts…as arriving on morning flight. The shuttle driver was super creepy, the reception staff made no effort to accommodate me, spa fully booked… turned out hotel eas barely occupied…when taken to my room??? Expecting a Radddison experience… I was dismayed to find a travel lodge box… thanks goes to reception on evening shift who “upgraded” me… Just felt conned. An oasis and a welcome unwind after a flight to Jo'burg. Everyone seems to be going somewhere the next day when they fly into Africa's largest airport. If looking for a quick overnight, Sunrock Guest House offers free shuttle service, a homemade breakfast, and comfortable guest quarters. As an added treat, the grounds offer beautiful water features surrounded by sculptures and tropical foliage, a relaxing way to end a long travel day.

Going backwards, very noisy late night and early morning on both nights. Restaurant food was poor.

Everything was very nice. The staff were amazing. The food was great. If I had to find something to complain about it would be the building needs some TLC. The phone in the room didn't work, light switch was a little finicky etc.

Floors need attention on corridors. Tap in the toilet sink could be reconfigured to be at a lower height. Bed very comfortable, TV absolutely stunning.
