It`s located just east of the campus of world-renown McGill University and minutes away from the Old Port. Exploring Montreal from here is an absolute dream. And being at the foot of the mountain sure doesn`t hurt either! :]

The space is unique in that it`s the only 300 square foot studio in the world where you have plenty of open floor space. Attention to design and a detailed approach make that possible.

Being in such a central location is magnificent. You`re at the foot of the mountain, but you`re only a couple minutes from Sainte Catherine street. Mile End and our famous bagels are due north and world famous St Laurent is a few minutes east. No matter your fancy, it`ll be well tickled from this space.

Metro place des arts is a couple minutes walk away. The 80 to Mile End is steps away and the 24 - which runs east/west on Sherbrooke is closer still. Basically you`re well taken care of.

The lobby was shabby the elevator was well needed work and it was not in service for two days there was a sewage problem in the basement the oven did not work properly I assumed the unit had a washer and dryer in it it did not and the tub did not have a plug .Overall however the unit was pretty good except the occasional daily construction noises! the area was very good we are in our sixties and a working elevator is necessary as is a warm bath on occasion .Thank You

The suite was as expected, the space outside of the suite was under a minor renovation, the elevator was rarely working, and the fumes from paint and smoke from cigarettes permeated the common area and made their way into the suite.Would have been nice to know in advance.

Apartment was clean and convenient. Comfortable bed with a great view of the Mountain from the window. Fabulous location next to McGill and in the Plateau. Taner was an excellent host, generally quick to respond and very helpful with details. The entryway and hallways were unprepossessing, and the spiral staircases, well, interesting, but the apartment itself was lovely. There was renovation going on in the stairways, so they may be trying to improve. One problem, perhaps related: our hot water stopped on the second day of our stay, and we could not get a response until the next day to have it fixed.

Communication with this host was superb, and the property was well located on a walkable and convenient location. This was a good spot for our family (two adults and a teen) for a few days. The unit was fairly compact so might not be the best fit if you have young children who need quiet to sleep. Linens were clean and although we didn't need the air conditioner it was nice to know it was there had it been warmer. All in all, a great homebase. Recommended.

McGill visit

Very clean, all newly reno’d/updated suite on top floor of small building. Well equipped kitchen with all you need. Great mattress. Small AC unit kept temps perfect. Great location with excellent bagel place just a block away for quick breakfast. Piles of great restaurants 10 minute walks in every direction. Building entrance and elevator a bit rough around the edges but no biggie. Will return if need be.
