The room was absolutely fabulous—spacious, beautifully decorated, and offering incredible views. We especially loved the smart controls that allowed us to manage the lighting throughout the entire room. The location was ideal, conveniently close to all our travel needs and a wonderful variety of local food spots. We had visited Montreal in the summer and hadn’t had the best experience, but this time was completely different. The people were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Mixed feelings on the Honeyrose: Pluses: comfortable bed, big room for the price which I why I chose the Honeyrose as I was there for a week - same size rooms elsewhere were double the price; the room was super quiet, the front desk staff are fantastic and have a real sense of customer service; my drink at the bar was pretty tasty; gym looked awesome Minuses: it feels a bit Disneyland ish - like the hotel Instagram built - too themed for my tastes; the room service food was terrible - I doubt the restaurant will survive in it's current state and there was zero flair in presenting room service - not even salt and pepper provided - needed; the coffee at the coffee shop and pastries are also horrible - they are burning the coffee through the auto machine they use - it's way too hot for a latte - they don't slam stuff around on a counter to make coffee - it's automated to some degree. Croissant was awful full of almond paste goo. Not sure if food and beverage is properly trained - bar drink was served to me by hand to a table - no tray was used and no straw or napkin provided. Felt a bit strange for a hotel. Bathroom in the middle of the room surrounded by glass is a bit strange. Ventilation is very bad for the toilet area. Okay for one person - a couple stay would be uncomfortable. The desk chair in the room for the desk is not a desk chair, it's an occasional chair that is lower. If you have a lot of work to do as part of your trip you need to ask for a desk chair sent up.

The hotel itself is incredible. I was a bit surprised by lack of basic things. They had an issue with check in and they didn’t have basic amenities if something was forgotten. Overall gorgeous place.
