Booked, paid and confirmed through Expedia. Arrived and no room, hotel fully booked. 2 hours trying to sort it out with Expedia. Frustrating. Hotel Staff did find another hotel a ways away for the night. Came back for the remaining two nights. Issues with TV remote and breakfast. Clean and nice staff, but a rough experience. Not inclined to book through Expedia again. Minimal compensation or help from Expedia. Hotel comped most of the stay

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Staff & service
The room we stayed on PH level was so noisy with outside highway traffic. I went down to the front desk a couple of time to see if they can help. The front desk staff isbtrying to be helpful. They said it was becasue the door of balcony is not closed. We didnot use balcony, but we checked mutiple times and they suppose to send soembody to check it as well. But it was still noisy. So we decided to shorten our trip from 7 nights to 6 nights. I talked to the front desk manager 48bhours ahead. She was very nice and said it was ok for me to cancel the last nighr stay. But when I receivwd the bill, they added the cost to the 5th and 6th night, basically i paid the same price for 7 nights even we stayed for 6. It doesnot match the price expedia.com gave to me. I am certainly not very happy about this and plan to call expedia to resolve the issue. The location of the hotel is very convenient to go to neaby site seeings.
I know that this hotel is in are fairly large city but I do believe that the parking should be included in the the cost of the room........one of the best hotels we have stayed in
A great hotel, very clean, located beside China Town but located in amongst tent cities, homeless people & sheltel with busy traffic & noise.
Breakfast was good, helpful staff as they kindly upgraded my room as it was my anniversary.
The hotel is great and my room was VERY QUIET. The only negatives are that a homeless encampment was in the next block which was scary at night and the breakfast was very substandard.
The hotel itself was nice, the room was clean and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Pricey for being surrounded by a BIG homeless encampment. It was central enough to walk, but as a group of women we felt uncomfortable walking past the encampment…. Strong odours, needles etc. I’d recommend staying right in old Montreal to avoid the area.
The location of the hotel was fantastic! It was located at the entrance of China town and we had so many dining options right by our hotel. We were also a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal, south of our hotel, and a 10 minute walk to St. Catherine's, north of our hotel. We loved that our room had 2 balconies and a washer and dryer in our suite! The service wasn't the greatest but we've spoken to the manager about our issue. We had 6 registered guests in our room and when it came time to replacing our dirty towels, the housekeeping attendant said she could only give me 4, and I would have to call the front desk to request the other 2 towels. We had to make multiple calls and waited all day for the other 2 towels. However we did enjoy the meal we had during the "social hour" Wednesday night. Front desk staff and managers were very friendly throughout our stay.
The hotel was amazing but the breakfast was horrible! They had so many people at the hotel that if you didn’t get downstairs early you didn’t get any food because they ran out of everything!
That was horrible! No plates, no utensils, no food!! Everything was gone by 9 am!!!
But the hotel and the room itself was amazing! We had a full kitchen with full refrigerator dishwasher and plates cups and utensils!
The stay was great. Location is perfect! On the edge of old Montreal. easy walking to the piers, Metro station, IGA, Hop-on-Hop-off bus stops, festivals, free outdoor concerts, ... .
Loved having the mini kitchen to store and heat up leftovers. We even did a small load of laundry since we got a stain on a shirt.
The breakfasts are very good but were a bit of a zoo during the busiest times.
We would definitely stay again!
Staff very accommodating. We stayed in the penthouse with stunning views. Breakfast was busy but delicious, especially the warn chocolate croissants! Location perfect walking distance to Old Port and downtown. I was a little concerned about the area after reading reviews mentioning the homeless encampment, but it was not an issue felt completely safe for a downtown area.
Great location to access to the old Montreal, Chinatown and Metro station. Very disappointed that we didn’t have room clean up although we asked at the front desk.
