I have rated this resort very low because of my experience at other resorts in Jamaica and I can say by far this is very low on my list. The food is terrible. Our room was dirty. There were items left from the previous people who stayed in the room. Majority of the staff is very unhappy and had attitudes. Almost all of the furniture and the equipment inside the resort is very old and dirty. There is not much to do at the resort. The entertainment is very low their sports bar that does turn into a club, service there is terrible and every night they mop the floor with an old vinegar dirty mop, so it smelled every night. There are random cats and dogs walking around Eating the food that’s left over from room service and in your ice cream and in your drinks and there’s also rats.

It can be more activities, the bar should be open later than 5. Once 6pm hit the resort is quiet. I wasn’t a fan of that. This would be my first & last time. It’s also too far from everything

Some staff were very friendly but some were also rude. Food was so-so at the restaurants. The buffet generally had better food. Restaurants are not 5 star, nor even close to 4...not very accommodating if reservations are not made ahead of time.

Place was nice staff was ok. Food was delicious at the buffet. Steak house ran out of steaks. Very hard to make reservations for dinner. We were celebrating our anniversary and they didn’t have our room decorated like promised. They never gave us champagne or wine like they told us they would.

This property needs to work on customer service and satisfaction. You are not welcomed with a simple greeting. Also, the food was not fresh. Some items it was noticeable they were processed frozen items. The restaurant serve cold food on numerous occasions. You have to ask for napkins. The napkins are not present when seated. There are a lot of workers standing around and not being attentive to guest.

We were group of 13 people celebrating my husband's birthday, we had the best time, hotel was very clean, staff for the most part was very friendly, food was good, drinks not so much. I do have to say that for this hotel to be adults only, mosth of the fun activities were at the hotel next door, bar stayed open later on that side though, but overall thank you to the great staff and the hotel for making our stay a time to remember, specially Jayvon who helped me with the planning months before. The staff at the PDR at Hunter restaurant, our waiter who i didn't get the name, but was great on 4/12/25. I feel bad we didn't get the name of the waiters and staff, but Thank you Royalton Hideaway for a great time, we appreciate you!!
