Review of RIU Palace Jamaica From the moment we walked in the door until the day we left, the staff at RIU Palace Jamaica was absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and always went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The property itself was very well maintained we constantly saw cleaners out and about ensuring the grounds were spotless, safe, and inviting. The entertainment crew was truly the highlight of our trip. They brought so much energy, fun, and laughter that they made our stay incredibly memorable. The buffet was another standout, with an incredible variety of options. My tip: go within the first hour for the freshest selection. The drinks were also excellent strong, flavorful, and plentiful. The beach is on the smaller side, but it’s kept very clean and still makes for a relaxing spot to unwind. Our Junior Suite with an ocean view was absolutely breathtaking clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the mosquito spraying. There was no warning given when they sprayed, and as someone with severe lung issues, the smoke was overwhelming. It even set off the hotel’s emergency system, which shows how strong it was. A simple heads-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, though, RIU Palace Jamaica exceeded expectations and gave us a vacation to remember. Go into this place not expecting luxury and you will love it. Be careful and watch the room You book. I got an ocean view suite and it was facing restaurants with a sliver of ocean in the distance. I upgraded to the Riu elite club and it was a lot better. Pools were small but warm and food in the ala carte place that I went to “Krystal” was amazing for an AI

Hotel staff very friendly and the food was great! We had some issues with the room but nothing major the soap dispenser came off the wall and bathroom door handle came off the door but we had a great time at this resort!

This was our first time on the property, but it won’t be the last time. The food selection was wonderful, and Chef Cindy was so gracious and friendly!
