We loved this place. Old but, in such great condition and quaint. The bed was super comfortable and Freddy the host, couldn't do enough to help. We have hesitation recommending Possum Lodge

At first, I was worried because I already booked the property before I even saw the bad reviews. But to my surprise, it wasn’t bad after all. I booked the property on the day of our stay, and was expecting for a late check-in. To our surprise, one of their staff called me and made sure that we can still be able to check-in smoothly even after the check-in time. We enjoyed our stay because our room was clean and our view of the lake is just breathtaking. We will surely gonna come back. Thank you.

The house is an older property in a quiet, established neighborhood. It is very clean and well appointed, everything worked as it should, and we were very comfortable there. Manapouri is a small community, which we preferred over all the tourism in Te Anou. We were quite happy to make the 15 min commute up to join in the fun or go out to eat, and then return to the calm of Manapouri when we were done. Lake Manapouri is just lovely!

Enjoyed 4 nights here. Geraldine has supplied the apartment with everything we needed and then some. The bed was super comfortable, the neighborhood very quiet, the location to the lake trail very convenient and the laundry right in the apt was so helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting Geraldine and her husband and they were very hospitable. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely everything about the stay was absolutely perfect - the hosts, the welcome tea, the room, the location, and the breakfast!!
