Comfortable room and nice pool. Shantell and her front desk staff always make me feel like family. Awesome breakfast thanks to Sharon. Property needs an overhaul...so much potential.
We had been driving 14 hour and just needed to take break. The location was easy off/on the freeway.
The property is beautiful however, the rooms have not been maintained. Our room had black mold above the AC, in the shower, and along the ceilings.
The ceiling showed moisture blisters.
NOW, lets chat about the good things which are just as important.
The beds are amazing, best night sleep Ive had in weeks.
Oh and the shower water pressure. WOW!!! It was outstanding, a standing massage.
In spite of the mold. I would return again for the bed and shower.
When we arrived we were told that because the cleaning staff hadn't showed up that day that there were no clean rooms for us. They were able to find a room, but the door wouldn't lock. Then the next day something malfunctioned in the door, and it wouldn't open. The maintenance person wasn't there, so we had to wait for over an hour in our pajamas. This caused us to miss one of our activities. Then, when it was fixed, we had to move to another room. The continental breakfast was great, the pool was good, and the manager was very nice.
Front desk clerk was the best thing about this hotel. The elevator was hot and musty! The room was musty. Flies everywhere. I did not go farther than the bed for fear of what else I might see before the bathroom.
We checked in late in the evening and the person at the desk was very sweet. The building is old and rundown. There was a bag of trash just sitting right outside the elevator door overnight. Once we got to the room, it smelled of mildew. I had to go down to the lobby to request new sheets and change them as the sheets on the bed were incredible stained and there was a good amount of hair in the bed. There was also hair all over the bathroom floor. We stayed simply because it was so late and we had an early morning the next day. We were supposed to stay two nights but checked out after the first because it had been so bad. The clothes I slept in still smelled like mildew multiple days later.

Checking in was okay, friendly enough. Left without checking room for lets be real I rented through Expedia. 3 hours later I returned to the Quality Suites to find the room door open but went inside anyway, took a look around, went back outside to double check the room number and immediately left the place, went to the office imformed them, at which point they checked their laptop and was told "NON-REFUNDABLE. I just looked at them, turned around, got in my car and hit the gas to put as much distance between them and me as possible. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot to the main road before I had to hit the break for it being the 3rd of July. The one thing I will say about what I experienced is "it made my skin crawl ".
Worst experience ever! Would not let us use the restroom before checkin. We got there 5 hours early. After we checked in the room had mold on the walls and lamp shade. The curtains closed with a thumb tack. The floor had water all over it from the air conditioner. The toilet was flithy and had rust all over it. The room smelled terrible. We stayed an hour and asked for a refund but was told we had to pay for a whole night because we were in the room for an hour. Do not recommend this place at all. The health department needs to get involved.
I didn’t like anything about this property. It smelled horrible. My room had no towels & I asked quite a few times for some and they never brought any until my last night. The doors to the rooms don’t close properly. When they do close they are hard to open. I do not recommend this place.
Throughtout my 1 night stay I was put into 3 different rooms. 1st room(416) the AC unit drain had water running down the wall within inches of a wall outlet, the sink wouldnt drain, and the bathroom door had been broken off its hinges. Upon returning to my room that night the lock wouldnt work, so they moved me to another room(111) until morning to get maintenance to fix the door, so I had none of my belongings except what I had on me. This room smelled of mold so bad as soon as I opened the door. Pictures are attached of some spots. Water was standing under the floors and would push from under it when you walked on it. The walls were moldy and some even soft from being wet. So i got moved again, this time to 205. This is 3am by this point and im just ready for bed. Luckily the only thing wrong with this room was the toilet wouldnt flush. I got into my original room the next morning and got my stuff. Reported these issues to the staff. Have stayed here multiple times and always ignored 1 or 2 issues but ran into quite a few this time with each room they gave me.
Located in the historic district. Place was moldy and we were given a room that reaked of cigarette smoke. The air conditioner leaked in the room and we were just provided towels to put down to catch the water.
