Cute property, excellent location

Quaint little two story motel right along Main Street. Clean rooms, amazing pool with a slide and hot tub, and decent breakfast options. The best part is that the room had 3 beds so me and my two friends each had our own bed.

I am disappointed with this property. Overall, it's aged and not managed well. The attending clerk was playing ping pong in the game room when I arrived to check in. I found used towels hung in the bathroom. When I called the front desk to send housekeeper to remove the towels, attending clerk didn't pick up. One of the "fresh" towels smelled funky. Besides, the odor in the bathroom persisted overnight. Perhaps few sprays of air freshener didn't do much. Heated pool area wasn't clean, and the tiny hot tub was above ground level. Maybe that's why I didn't see more than two guests at a time around the hot tub. Later at night, I found the clerk smoking in the pool area with two buddies. Nice thing about this hotel was comfortable bed and well-maintained breakfast room. Bedding was clean and fresh. Breakfast served was decent, and the area was cute and kept clean. I reserved this hotel because of the promotion I received from Expedia for gold member. I feel like it wasn't worth taking the promotion and don't recommend staying at this property.

Very clean and spacious room. The pool looked like fun with a slide. The complimentary breakfast was much nicer than I've gotten in previous motels.

Expedition Lodge met all of our needs! We had 2 dogs and were very comfortable. Rooms are nice and big, and the breakfast area was well stocked, clean and delicious. The only thing is that the air conditioner was making this sound of scraping, and we could easily have turned it off, but we needed it to regulate temperature in the room.

Expedition Lodge was an okay stay. The front desk staff was hard to find, it answered all questions once they were found. The breakfast was good, but for a place near a park that you need to enter early, breakfast should start earlier than 7am. We were only able to use it once. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it. The room was fine, But the towels and bedspread were dirty.

Great value for the money

The customer service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was heated to 98° in the hot tub to 104°. The breakfast had a lot of variety and good protein options. A very family, friendly place! Will be back for sure

The room and breakfast was great. We arrived late at night due to travel delays, but we called ahead and got great instructions. Easy to follow. The only problem was the parking. There were not enough stalls when someone was allowed to park across 3 or 4 stalls with a trailer. Parking was frustrating.

Close to Arches National Park as it is the Northern side of Moab, so it is convenient in that sense. A couple of restaurants are walking distance as well.
