However, Saltdal is located 70 kilometres away from Mo-I-Rana. Here you'll be spoiled with a variety of places to spend your evenings. Check out the Saltfjellet Hotell Polarsirkelen and Saltdal Turistsenter - Campground.

Don't even think of going home without visiting a few of the region's gorgeous beaches and coastal plains. Old towns and cathedrals are popular sights also worth a look around. Looking for things to do? Spend the day enjoying the Alstahaug Church and Sandnessjoen Marina. You'll find them in Sandnessjoen, 95 kilometres to the southwest of Mo-I-Rana. If you're keen to visit Sandnessjoen, look into the Scandic Syv Søstre and Clarion Collection Hotel Kysten. Alternatively, you could stay in Bodo, 95 kilometres to the north of Mo-I-Rana, where you'll find the Scandic Bodø and Skagen Hotel. Bodin Church and the Norwegian Aviation Museum are up there with the most popular places to explore while in Bodo.

After being squished into a cabin seat all night, a nice comfy bed at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bodo will feel like a dream! If it's chockers there, suss out the Bodo Hotell. Both are super close to Bodo Airport, which is 95 kilometres from Mo-I-Rana's centre.
