Sitting 50 kilometres from Miyoshi is Kochi, a regional centre with a population of 340,000. It's where you'll find some awesome attractions, like Mt. Godaisan, Sunday Market and the Anrakuji Temple. If you end up hanging out for a while, continue on and check out the vibe at the Kochi Literary Museum and Yamauchi Shinto Shrine. There is a good number of hotels and accommodations in Kochi, with The Crown Palais New Hankyu Kochi and Nishitetsu Inn Kochi Harimayabashi topping the list.
