If these aren't your style, we'd recommend you have a look at the Misasa Onsen Misasa Garden Hotel, which is 6 kilometres from the downtown area.

Still haven't uncovered the ideal room? You might just find a high enough thread count in Hiezu-son. You'll also be able to check out Mukibanda Yayoi remains and Hokikodainooka Park. If you want to visit Hiezu-son, consider the Kaike Tsuruya and Kaichoen. 50 kilometres to the west of Misasa you'll also find Yonago, home to the Yonago Washington Hotel Plaza and Yukai Resort Kaike Saichoraku. If you stay in Yonago, be sure to visit Amenomanai and the Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography.

Matsue is 75 kilometres from Misasa and has a population of 160,000. When you're in the area, you'd be mad if you didn't explore Ushio Onsen, Yunokawa Onsen and Tamatsukuri Onsen.
