Spend more time off with the fairies than actually working? Find yourself flicking through old travel posts more times than is probably healthy? Time for a Mer break. Hotel options in Mer's centre are on the thin side. But if you're up for a short drive, you can comfortably stay in one of the 3 hotels within 10 kilometres of the action.

If you want to spend your nights close to the centre, the La Maison d'à Côté and Hôtel Le Verger are your best bets.

If you're not bothered by travelling 17 kilometres to get to the heart of town, consider Vineuil. This area has 2 hotel options, including the Kyriad Blois Sud-Vineuil and B&B Hôtel BLOIS.
