If you're keen to stay in La Chomette, look into the rates at the Relais du Silence Domaine Saint-Roch and Hôtel-Restaurant La Crèche. Alternatively, you could stay in Saint-jacques-des-blats, 35 kilometres to the west of Mentières, where you'll find the Hotel des Chazes and Hôtel le Brunet. Puy Mary and Les Gorges de la Jordanne are among the more popular sites to check out for those visiting Saint-jacques-des-blats.
Unless you're going to set up camp at Loudes Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation. The Hôtel Alizé is close by, or you could always travel to the centre of town. It's 50 kilometres away.
