It was ok. I guess that I expected more from an all inclusive resort. But the bed was comfortable & the water pressure was great. I didn’t expect to have to pay for in room coffee or the bottles of water, not very “all inclusive”.

With the elite package, food was amazing and plentiful. Easy to book Al a carte restaurants. Had some issues with one of the housekeepers, but it was rectified with one phone call. The other housekeeper was amazing. Resort is a bit rundown but clean.

Went with my family for a two day trip been here numerous times in the past this time around it was horrible service from Yolanda a supervisor. ac was not working in the room when I called to complain about it since it was 90 plus degrees outside she worded it “as I want a free day at the hotel. Customer service skills is completely awful. I want to begin with saying I paid for this reservation ahead of time so this comment deeply offended me. I was referred here because of the exceptional service but that definitely not the case. Yolanda is a horrible person and lacks social skills.

We have been visiting El CID for years now and noticed the property has aged with time. I could hear remodeling crews working early morning but the process will take time and commitment to better its room value. We do thank the concierge VIP section for showing concern over our stay,
