You mightn't be flush with choice when it comes to hotels in Mazaricos, but luckily, you can choose from 18 comfy digs within 30 kilometres of its centre.

It won't take long to reach central Mazaricos from Hotel Oca Insua and Hotel Praia de Quenxe (although with beds as cosy as these, don't be surprised if you wind up running a little behind schedule!)

Still struggling to book a place to crash? The Casa Perfeuto María and the Albergue de Logrosa may tick your boxes. The first is 9 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 20 kilometres away. If these don't float your boat, we'd suggest the Hotel Millán, which is 20 kilometres from town.

Caviar or corn dogs? However you roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Corcubion, 17 kilometres away. With Ezaro Beach and Cape Finisterre to explore, you won't be bored here. Some of our recommended Corcubion hotel options include the Apartamentos VIDA Corcubión and Hotel La Marina. 20 kilometres to the west of Mazaricos you'll also find Fisterra, home to the Hotel Rústico Spa Finisterrae and Apartamentos Finisterrae Playa. If you stay in Fisterra, set aside a little time to visit the Molinos de San Adrián de Toba and Isla Lobeira Grande.

Travel 35 kilometres east and you'll come across Santiago de Compostela, a regional centre with a population of 95,000. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, get your tourist on at the Congress and Exposition Center of Galicia, the Library and Archive of Galicia and Area Central Shopping Center. If you're in the area for a bit longer, continue on and check out the vibe at Santo Domingo de Bonaval Park and Colexiata de Santa Maria do Sar. There are numerous great hotels where you can score a cosy room for a couple of nights in Santiago de Compostela. Unless you're going to sleep on the floor at Lavacolla Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Ruta Jacobea is close by, or you could always travel into Mazaricos' centre. It's 45 kilometres away.
