It's been years since we'd been to Chautauqua and Webb's had been a crown jewel. This visit we were met with a very different experience. Everything was under construction (painting in the hall, baseboard trim laying about, art from the walls on the floor and construction debris everywhere. The restaurant we'd been looking forward to dining at has been closed for years. The room had a great view and has been recently renovated, which was a delight. We were one of only a few guests, so the "resort felt more like the hotel in The Shining. The pool was closed pending inspection. The breakfast was SUPER-sad not worth getting up for. I hope the management can turn this property back to its glory days.

Made reservation for king jacuzzi room with lake view patio. We arrived after 11pm and had to wait about 5 minutes to let us in, which wasn't a big deal. There is an adorable, friendly dog at the desk, which we enjoyed. Initially we were assigned to a room that was occupied, with an employee who was staying. She was friendly and got us into the correct room. The room was very nice, huge jacuzzi tub and nice patio with a good view of the lake. As for the rest of the hotel, also beautiful, but very obvious it was under construction, with items scattered throughout the entire hallway, some being boards with nails, ect. I felt that was a little dangerous, as I was staying with my child. I think it would be more appropriate to move items into one of the rooms, but again, wasn't a big deal and glad they are working to making improvements. The staff was very kind and we had a pleasant stay and will be back hopefully after the renovations are complete!

They are remodeling! Be aware that there is no more restaurant. The pool and hot tub were being remodeled and will be very nice when done. Ask what is open if it matters. The bed was very comfy!

I was a little disappointed that the pool and weight room were under construction since that was partly why i chose this hotel. The room was clean and the set up was nice. We had a room with a hot tub and i brought my own cleaner to make sure it was clean before i used it. I had a lovely time and I'd probably come back just to wake up and see that view!

Never stay here! Had to request new room. First one heat didnt work. Second one was dirty. There was dirty towels left in room. Bathroom wasnt cleaned. There was urine on toliet!! Requested that housekeeping come and clean room. When I returned there was still urine on toliet. Smelled like all they did was spray cleaner in air!! Upon checking out could not find one person to talk to!! I feel i should get a full refund!

While property is under construction and renovation I do think they could be more organized and have guests stay in areas that are not torn apart. Hallways to room were covered in construction debris and rooms under construction left open. Pool is also closed which should be listed in property description.

Webb’s is an old school resort that they are in the process of renovating the property. At this time the pool and workout area are closed. The coffee area is very limited and has ‘value’ priced creamer, and prepackaged mini donuts, etc. none of it was appealing so I decided to go next door to She Sings restaurant and have a hot breakfast instead. If you're in a pinch - stay here

Last minute trip planned to NY for snowmobiling - hotel is perfect location to hit the trails from. Hotel itself needs A LOT of love - the room had an off smelled when we got in - once we got the fan going it seemed to clear out though. Bed wasn't bad - the pillows were less than desirable. Was looking forward to soaking in the hot tub after being out all day in the frigid cold but of course that was not open at all - even though it looked fine and the wet marks around it in the morning seemed to say otherwise. Dogs woke us up several times barking - there were two somewhere down the hallway - I'm a dog lover, but it sucked. The shower I think was the worst part - it made a high pitch squealing noise that literally hurt my ears - did not shower last day just because of this. It wasn't just ours either, I could tell when anyone else on the floor was taking a shower, the squeal could be heard. (Check your towel situation before you get in the shower also - our room had one towel in it) Was good for a last-minute trip, and perfect location but it needs some work - definitely should not say breakfast included for what they had down there. Also - there was a balcony like thing outside that keeps the light on...all night... and no curtain in the room. So you have light shining through the blinds non-stop - I recommend if light bothers you do not stay on the front side.

The pool was not working the entire time we were there. I understand that they recently changed owners and are working out the kinks. The front desk staff and manager were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hottub in the room worked well with no issues. We tried 3 different tvs by the time we found one that works. There were only 2 towels and washclothes in the room. Housekeeping did not clean our room after requested. The breakfast was very limited with no drinks other than coffee offered (not even water).

The hotel is under renovation. Jacuzzi in the room didn't work. Pool was shut down with out any for knowledge and couldnt get many TV stations. Otherwise the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
