It sits 130 kilometres southwest of the nation's capital, Tokyo.

Take a journey out to Higashiizu, 20 kilometres to the northeast. Once you're there, head straight for the Atagawa Tropical and Alligator Garden.

Yuigahama and Shichirigahama are the places to go if you feel like somewhere to unwind.

Travel beyond the confines of Matsuzaki and you'll be rewarded with some picturesque natural sights. Just 18 kilometres away, Tsumekizaki is an excellent spot to soak up some sunshine. We also suggest Mt. Omuroyama, 30 kilometres away from Matsuzaki.

You may have the urge to stay in Kawazu for a while. This place is 14 kilometres away and close to Kawazu Bagatelle Park, Kinomiya Shrine and Kawazu-Nanadaru Loop Bridge. A few other nearby sights are Kawazu Nanadaru Waterfalls and Mine Onsen Daifunto Park.
