We stopped in Ajijic by fluke! I saw the pictures of the hotel on Expedia and booked it.
What a lovely surprise!
The room was bright and roomy. The staff very friendly. Luis Aceves at the front desk a pleasure to speak with. Parking and check in was a breeze.
Although the wait staff was attentive, one drawback was that the cash register was not at the bar, but at the outside restaurant. It took time to process the payment.
Seeing and chatting to older guests at the hotel, they mentioned feeling like unsafe going into the jacuzzi due to a lack of a handrail. Just a thought to add.
