You might like Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Gandoca-Manzanillo. It's a great place to visit if you find yourself in the area.
There's even more just down the road. Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, 12 kilometres to the west, is popular for the Talamanca Family Art and Foundation Jaguar Rescue Center. Though, if Rio San San and Sixaola Bridge are more your thing, travel 14 kilometres south from Manzanillo to Sixaola.
The Finca Los Monos Botanical Garden, Bocas Butterfly Garden and Bocas Marina are all close to Bocas del Toro, 55 kilometres to the southeast. Want some more reasons to stop by? Tortuga Beach and Bolivar Park are not far away either.
