I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming property. The reception and bar/restaurant teams were unfailingly courteous and attentive. The tasteful design and inviting atmosphere instantly make you feel at home and encourage a sense of relaxation. Conveniently located near the town center, it offers the perfect balance—close enough for a somewhat short hike, yet tucked away enough to feel removed from the bustle (such as it is in this quiet hillside town). The short walk to the center is scenic, though a touch steep. An added delight is the afternoon happy hour at the bar—a thoughtful detail that rounds out the experience beautifully. It wasn’t an issue for me at the time of the year that I visited, but some rooms don’t have air conditioning and it could be an issue during warm/hot days.

Beautiful design of the courtyard, the lush landscape with different layers never tires of my eyes. Yummy and variety of breakfast can satisfy any diet needs. Friendly and helpful staff really delivers the Pura Vida of Costa Rica.

Such a unique, serene experience. The entire staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel had so many activities within itself it felt like we didn’t have enough time there!! Our favorite part was definitely the farm to table food experience. Every drink and dish was exquisite. We really appreciated this hotel’s keen attention to detail and the thoughtfulness in everything they do!!
